My libido is about the same, which was already good. I still get my period but it came about 4 days later this month, which is odd because I’m normally pretty regular. Keeping an eye on that because I know some women have lost their periods due to fasting.
The longest fast I have done so far was about 48 hours. I would like to go longer but am nervous about it.
Libido increase - Yes!! I totally thought it was just me. And it normally happens after that 72 hour induction phase. Seems like the opposite of what the guys are experiencing.
As for my pd… Last time I was fasted during my cycle it was pretty painful. I am on birth control and don’t normally get cramps but it was brutal last time. I hope that isn’t a thing I have to worry about.
I mostly fast intermittently with keto

periods get more “normal” - 5 days, lighter flow, less cramps
haven’t had experience with a fast longer than 2 days, but look forward to trying in the future. I saw a reddit comment from someone saying that he/she was a patient of Dr. Jason Fung (author of The Obesity Code) and did a 7-day fast with one meal to break, then 7 more days (repeat cycle). 😲 the person had lost 70 lbs doing that plan! I would love to build up the self control and discipline to do that, because I want to lose 100+ lbs.

Yes on libido Yes on changed periods, mines early this month, late last month, but I’ve only been at this 1.5 months.
Haven’t tried a 4 day. Seems more intimidating given hormone fluctuations, but maybe at the beginning of ones cycle. Not sure it would be worth it.
Last time I did a 5 day fast, my period was 2 weeks late! Talk about a major freak out. I don’t know how many sticks i peed on. I’m a every 26-day type of girl so I really spazzed. Medium length fasts (4 to 6 day) are the only way I can drop and hold weight off.
