Hello Beautiful people,
I hope everyone is doing well and sticking to their routine.
Continuing from my [*previous pos*t](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/comments/zftw2q/doing_a_30_day_water_fasting_and_just_crossed_the/) where I mentioned that I have embarked on a 30-day water fasting.
**I successfully completed the first 7 days last night and started with the 8th day...**
*Here are some of my observations:*
1. I have lost 10.3 KG during the last 7 days. My wife told me my face looks narrower and the jawline has little visibility.
2. Sometimes when I stand up or go to pee in the middle of the night, I suddenly feel very lightheaded. (not like a blackout but I need to stop for a moment)
3. The skin has improved and no more chapped lips or dry skin (probably because I am just well-hydrated)
4. Some joint pains are almost gone but surprisingly I feel pain between my thumb and index finger, I don't know why!
5. For the last 2 days, I have had pain in the Lumbar vertebrae/sacrum area.
6. overall, I am feeling energetic and I do not feel hungry anymore (or salivating looking/thinking about food)
*Some of the things I am doing (In case there's anything wrong, please guide me)*
1. Drinking 2 cups of black tea w/o sugar
2. Drinking 2 cups of black coffee w/o sugar
3. Drinking 1 cup of Matcha w/o sugar just before bed
4. Drinking just 3 ltr of water with electrolytes and 1 tbsp of Himalayan pink salt
*My exercise routine so far (again, please guide me if anything seems wrong)*
1. 4km of walking in the evening (at \~14KMPH)
2. Swimming in the pool. (\~550Mtr swim in \~30 mnts)
3. Commuting to work and coming back on public transport
4. Normal grocery run
I am trying to stay strong and consistent so that I can achieve my goal and continue what I have started.
Your kind support, motivations, and suggestions are always welcome and your words will do nothing but push me to achieve the target.
Thank you r/fasting :)

It sounds like you are kicking ass! I’m so envious. I’ve done 5 days, a few 4 days and many 3 days. I know I could absolutely do 7. That’s planned for the new year. Have you seen the talk by Dr.Pradip Jamnadas called Fasting for Survival? I watch it every extended fast to remind myself of what exactly is going on and all the amazing benefits I’m reaping as I fast. Very empowering and motivating! He explains everything so well. Enjoy those shiny new stem cells!
