Why I’m fasting: weight loss.

Length of fast: probably 20 hours

Notes: I’ve found my groove where I don’t feel deprived and thinking of food constantly. I leave home and travel for work for 2-3 days a week. These are the days I fast on eat breakfast and a light lunch in office (about 7.30-8 and then 11.30-12) and dirty fast (tea with a drop of milk) until the next day. When I’m home I eat intuitively and only when hungry. I make decent choices but don’t deprive myself if I want that takeaway meal once in a while or the sweets/crisps one night a week for a movie. I’ve found in loosing weight and not hard to stick to, about 1kg a week. It’s definitely working and I don’t feel the need to eat as much crappy food.

Hello. I have recently been pretty determined to lose quite a lot of my body fat, so I decided to go into fasting. I am 174cm tall and 90kg.

My current weekly schedule:
Fasting Session 1: Eat my dinner on Sunday, then water fast all the way until Wednesday morning where I have my breakfast. (\~64 hours fasting session)

Session 2: After eating lunch on Wednesday, water fast all the way until Friday breakfast/lunch, depending on my schedule. (\~40 hours fasting session)

I have tried jogging a little, but I really dislike cardio, so I usually jog once a week on Wednesday night. Turned to fasting because not eating food is easier to do then going for a run.

I am pretty new to fasting in general, but would you say that if I keep things same for the times I do eat, I would gradually lost body fat every week? Or rather, I just need reassurance that what I do will work.

Howdy, Checking in ~14hrs in to my second 44 for this cycle. Been having to work thru some pretty uncomfortable hunger sensations this week but I’m determined. I had some delicious food last evening and I’m looking forward to eating again tomorrow. Today I’ll keep myself distracted with stuff around the house.
