Answer

Wrapping up a 48 in a few hours, eating a meal with the in-laws, then doing another 48.

It’s not my usual 72 hour weekend fast, but adjusted plans to fit around the in-law meal. I figure turning one 72 into two rolling 48s should be a good substitute. And if I end up liking this schedule, then the rolling-48 becomes another tool to add to my weight loss arsenal to fit fasting around planned weekend meals like birthdays and holidays.

Also, this in-law fastbreaker meal is going to be high carb, so hopefully that doesn’t turn into the bathroom dash. I’ve never done a 48 before, so no idea if that still happens with only a 2 day fast.

I still think the weekly 72 is going to be my go-to fasting method. But having more options that work is always better.
