Fasting for weight loss —in one week lost approximately 2 lbs

I’ve recently started ADF, but some people might consider my way cheating cuz I dirty fast with a spoonful of nondairy coffee creamer in my coffee and I also drink coconut water if I feel I need the electrolytes. Taking a magnesium supplement has helped me a lot too. It might not be the best way but it feels sustainable for me and I haven’t had upset stomach when I do eat

I think my hardest thing is most of my friends hang out around food. I don’t actually have much of a hunger problem at this point, and the fast goes by quickly but I have declined two invites this week because of fasting

I’m interested in starting longer fasts like rolling 48s or 72s. But I’m just gonna start slowly and see what happens/what I can handle.

Good luck on your journey everyone!

In day 12 of a 24 day fast, halfway! Feeling pretty good, although I have been battling a nasty cold. Not hungry, which is nice. This is the longest I have gone and very excited to have come so far.

I’m not weighing myself during the fast, just before and after, so I don’t know the progress by numbers. But my pants feel a little looser. Gonna keep going as long as I feel good!

I’m done with day 5 of my 5 day fast! After day 3 it’s been very steady.

I’m going to prolong my fast for another 36 hours and then I’ll have a day of keto meals on Sunday. My plan is to start another 5 day fast for next Mon-Fri.

Have a good weekend everybody!

I’ve been doing a mix of IF and OMAD for a few years.. but thinking of increasing my eating calories and window cause it seems to give me more energy, but trying out 48 fasts? I’m 24 hours into one currently.. started now partly because I’ve been eating a lot of rubbish the past week

Doing my first fast! Trying for 36 hours, currently at hour 17. I’m doing it for weight loss. I try to do 16:8 at least 3 days a week, often 20:4.

I’m not hungry yet, just struggling with the socialisation factor of normally having food now. And because food is tasty and delicious. Really hoping I can see this through

Hi I’m super new to fasting and struggle with grazing throughout the day so trying intially to not snack between meals and fast for 12 hours! It’s not a long fasting period but I guess it’s a good place to start, hoping that support will help me start this healthier way of eating :)
