Hello! I’ve been doing OMAD for a few weeks and enjoying it. I tried a 48-hour fast a few weeks ago and felt better than I expected on the second day but had to stop after 48 due to family obligations. I’d like to try fasting 5 days and see how it feels, so I started yesterday, and I’m on hour 30. I want to dig into those fat stores and also work on my insulin resistance - my glucose numbers have improved a lot since starting IF. Feeling good so far.

Started a 3 day fast about 5 minutes ago. Had a higher fat breakfast that used to before starting. Have the vitamins and electrolytes that I need for next 3 days. Fingers crossed that this one leads into a 7 day fast next! Edit: doing this for health reasons - kick start weight loss but also cellular regeneration. Suffer from chronic pain and have heard very good results with fasting for chronic conditions and aging

I’m 40 hours into a 60-72 hour target and I’m struggling at the moment. I’ve been doing rolling 36s for a couple weeks, with one time going to 60. I’m hoping to get at least that far again. This morning I took a brisk 2-mile walk up and down a steep hill before it got too hot, which was great, but now I’m just sitting here watching food network (ok I just turned it off). Maybe I should put myself in the car and go buy some fixings for bone broth … there’s a Korean grocery store nearby with a freezer section full of great soup things like beef tendons, hooves, knees. I’m working up to water only, but for now I’m allowing a cup or two of bone broth in the evenings. My goal is weight loss and insulin sensitivity (56F, 5’1”, CW 153, GW 125)

Greetings. Im fasting first time in my life and I was told to get good salts and water while doing it. I went to drugstore and asked for sugarfree salt tablets that disolve into water. I got these anti cramp tablets that have many different salts/minerals and B12. It is sweetened with sucralose(sweetener but not sugar). Did it ruin my fast?

Got to finish 8 days (was hoping for 14) of my water fast. Lots of healing and still feeling ok but my blood glucose dropped below 4.0. As a diabetic I need to be careful so in my fasting plan I had this as a marker. Anyone else experience low blood glucose levels when fasting? Any tips?

I have another question. I’ve been fasting for 3 days and my legs are getting sore. Is that a salt issue? How should I fix that. Im buying electrolyte powder tomorrow. Will that help? Or should I mix salt and water?
