Answer
I’m on day 5 of a 5 day 20:4 fasting streak. I’m pushing this last day into 36 hours straight. I’ve lost 8lbs and I feel pretty good. I think this is gonna be my new schedule. My body just feels better overall while I’m on a strict fasting schedule.
The thing I just realized today is how much I eat when I’m bored. I got bored so many times today. But in that boredom, I made myself sit and watch some stuff I’ve been meaning to watch for ages. I was fully focused on the movie instead of the meal and that was nice.
I’m going to bed now and when I wake up I can have breakfast and honestly I’m really excited and proud that I was able to stick to a schedule and resist negative coping mechanisms (boredom eating).
