I’m really struggling with high heavy heartbeat and slightly elevated blood pressure when fasting for 2 days. I get to about 36 hours, and start feeling weak and terrible. Dizzy when I stand up. I’ve been having potassium and a little salt this time and it hasn’t helped.

I’m already on a keto diet.

Just ate half a banana and some nuts at 38 hours, because I give up. It feels like I’m damaging myself.

I’m training to heal food allergies and a suspected autoimmune issue..

Feeling pretty bummed. I want to do a 5 day fast and get maximum benefits, but it’s feeling so out of reach at the moment

Eating day nearly lunch time and I don’t really feel hungry after my breakfast. So far it’s going great. We are heaving a little weight loss contest at work so I will be doing series of 2 day fasts 1 day eating for last 2 weeks to get ready for final weighing. I have managed ADF fine I should be rather okay with extending it by another 24h for 2 weeks and after that back to regular fast every other day.

Starting my first 7 day water fast. It’s my first time doing any kind of long term fast (other than some short periods of 16-8 IF). I’m (22F, 67kg, 160cm) currently on day 2 of my water fast.
I was curious if I should incorporate electrolytes? I’ve been seeing some differing opinions on this, and I’m also located in China so it’s harder to obtain these kinds of supplements. Would fasting results be better if I include some kind of exercise (HIIT or yoga) or should I just stick to short daily walks? I’m super curious to what will happen to my body - muscle % and body % wise. I was a gymnast and have really thick thighs haha.
