Answer

The scale’s not been moving lately so I decided to double up my monthly fast to two 72-hour weekends. I’m about 48 hours into the first one. The next one will be scheduled next week to end shortly before the holiday, or if I can’t make the timing right, I’ll just start it after (still another week in the month). I’m not planning on doing two fasts per month forever, necessarily, but who knows? If the results are good enough I could be persuaded.

98 hours into a fast and today was weird!Yesterday I was dead, basically didnt get up from the couch cause my energy was so low.Today, I dragged myself grocery shopping in the morning and when I got back I literally couldn’t stop.I cleaned the house, I put up christmas lights despite procrastinating all this time. Randomly made a handmade wreathe (went foraging for this and used some stuff I had laying around) it came out so good!Wrapped xmas gifts then I made some homemade cinnamon buns to give to some friends coming over.

I was so down yesterday and the whole of today I was just vibing and don’t even feel tempted by food lying around (and the cinnamon buns!)

Anyone else here not doing anything extreme and finding it just works?

So many people posting about their long fasts or trying again for the x’th time or that it failed previously.

I just do 12-16hour fasts, if you sleep for 8 hours it’s literally going to work and back home without eating.
