Fast: Day 6 of 14 (water/coffee/tea), previously OMAD since the 1st of Jan.
This is the first day I’ve felt a bit of peace and slight euphoria with the 14 day fast.
I did a 5k walk in the morning and I’ve taken it easy this afternoon, but I don’t have any headaches or digestive troubles. It’s a Saturday, so distractions aren’t as defined as work, but I’m finding it much easier now to push on.
I managed to sit next to my partner on the sofa last night whilst he scoffed down a pizza, the cheese smelled sooo damn gooooood! That was an achievement in itself…
I’m looking forward to achieving my target next Sunday and then having some cheese (post carefully refeeding)!
I’m 63hrs in to a 72hr fast. I feel great and I’m not hungry at all. The only reason I wanted to eat is because I made chicken strips Monday and had left overs. But too late to eat it now. My longest fasts are always 72hrs, but I feel good so I might keep going until Sunday or Monday at the latest. I would go longer but for women supposedly it’s not good to fast the week before your period. Then I’ll try another 72+ when my period comes which probably will be impossible lol.
I’ve lost 7lbs on this fast :) I know most of this is water though :(. I’ve been on this journey for 3.5 months and I’ve lost about 40lbs which is crazy because I would’ve gained 5-10lbs due to holidays and the millions of birthdays I attend in fall/winter. Literally 15% of my weight can be attributed to the holidays/birthdays at the end of the year. Fasting is changing my life, I wish I understood this sooner. Even just skipping breakfast would’ve helped me immensely.
I am currently about 17 hours away from completing a 6 day water fast. It just blows my mind that I haven’t eaten anything since Monday and that my body is responding so well to it.
When I first started to look into fasting it was to see how likely it would be to go 10 days without eating anything. But now I find myself wondering if I can go 20 or 30 days at some point.
It’s difficult at times, but persevering with it feels incredibly rewarding.
Just broke a 51 hour water fast! Having some bone broth, dragonfruit, mango, and watermelon!
Main reason for weight loss and regaining discipline! I did Jiu Jitsu 2 times over my fast.

I didn’t have too many slow moments during my fast. May implement a 24 hour fast once a week!
45 hours into my weekly 72 hour fast. All seems to be going well. Definitely hit a comfortable stride that I can do continuously. Looking forward to seeing how much I lose by the end of the year. Can’t wait for the results to be visible.
So far haven’t gotten any comments on my weight loss, but I get it: the difference in size from 360 to 340 isn’t very noticeable. 20 pounds is 20 pounds, sure, but it’s only like 5% of my starting body weight, which won’t be comparatively noticeable yet.
