Length: so far, 25h and 8min, not sure how long I’ll manage.

Fasting for: just out of curiosity….my wife thinks I will die if I don’t eat for a week. The internet says fasting that long is fine as long as you’re taking electrolytes. There was only one way to find out.

Notes: I didn’t sleep all night and am kind of dazed. the Ketostix have changed color and are now light pink! Also I drank a Celsius a half hour ago and only learnt afterwards that I shouldn’t have taken the Surcalose :(

I am 38 hours into a 44 hour fast. I’ve done intermittent fasting quite a bit but this is my first ever extended fast! Decided I wanted to try it to give myself a kick start after Christmas indulgence. This morning I was 3lbs down, really pleased with that as I gained 3lbs over the few days around Christmas where I just ate EVERYTHING for about 4 days straight.

I’m feeling really hungry, I’m at work but it’s quiet due to Christmas so not as good of a distraction. Going to try and chuck myself into tasks again to pass the time. I can’t imagine being able to concentrate at work if it was a normal day…does it get easier?

64 hours into undetermined length fast. Will break my fast when my body tells me to. Water, electrolytes and multi-vitamin. Feel pretty good, no hunger, minor pain in my legs. Might be from lifting weights the first 2 days of the fast so not lifting today

62 hours in. 898 to go. Bit of a headache this morning that was sorted out after getting some fluids. Feeling pretty good, but still fighting the urges when I smell food. Another day or two and that will be mostly shutdown. Good luck everyone!
