Was doing OMAD but since stopped…
I need help with an electrolyte imbalance I upped my electrolytes in general and feel a lot better however I don’t feel 100% I still get a random woozy / dizzy spell here and there. My headaches have definitely subsided, but I’m unsure now if I need more water?
Does sodium counteract potassium? How do I adjust them?
Additionally, is there a way I can reset them so to speak and fully replenish? Then go back and try keto, fasting etc? It seems like a tough task to chase them from behind and play whack a mole trying to figure out what exactly I need and when…
In mornings, I’ve gotten up and done 1,200 mg sodium and 900 mg potassium. It seems to be making me feel better for a few hours.
Does this at least point to an electrolyte issue?

⏳ 13 hours into an 86 hour fast
I am fasting to cultivate mental discipline and to get a grip on some emotional things that I have been moving through for the last few months. I am also on a weight loss journey, so this is also to reset my body because I am working on cutting out processed sugar and exclusively only getting sugar through fruits.
It’s just the beginning now, so of course it’s going fine. I know that I can get through the first day, but it’s the next two days that I’m going to have to push through. Over the past few months, I have accumulated so many attempted fasts that have failed, but two years ago I was fasting regularly (once a week), so I am using that as motivation - because I was able to do it at some point in my life before!
Anyone else started a fast yesterday night or today?
