Answer
I’m on hour 65 of my first 72-hour fast; however, I may extend it for at least another day depending on how I’m feeling this evening. The evening is when I get hungry, and last night was bad as far as hunger. I’m curious to see how tonight goes since I’ll be well past that Day 2 hump.
I am currently fasting for weight loss, increased insulin sensitivity, and I’m also hoping to see improvements on my next lipid panel. As of this morning, I’m down 6 pounds, and I’m feeling great. The first night was rough, and I slept fitfully, but I’m hoping that was just a one-off because I slept well last night.
I’m hoping to make this a monthly thing and will be aiming for 7-day fasts in the future.

42 hrs / 57.8 hrs. feeling great so far, only breaking my fast bc of work Saturday but depending on how I feel when I wake up, I may just extend through work :) it’s funny how much more free time you have when you don’t have to think about what you’re eating when, I actually find myself getting bored quite a lot when fasting.
