I’m planning to do rolling 4 day fasts (104hrs per week, really) for 6 weeks - this is the end of the 3rd week. Hopefully I can make it all six weeks, at which point I will scale back to 3 days a week until I hit my goal weight. I’m guessing 2 days a week will be needed to maintain the weight loss.
Answer
After gaining 17 pounds from July- September 2022 after covid in July, I just couldn’t get back on the ball. I was previous keto/carnivore doing OMAD mostly. But fell way off and was constantly cheating via SAD.
Finally, I started to fast mid September 2022. First it was sticking to OMAD, then I decided to try a 48 hour fast once a week. Quickly it turned to 72h, 48h, 48h in a week with three eating windows for an hour. Sometime from mid September to now, I have gotten back down to 188lbs.
I re-fed yesterday, so tecnically 189😁. So, in less than 1 month I am back to my lowest from July.
