Just came back from a week long vacation where basically ate just about whatever I wanted. Had a great time and don’t regret it, but now it’s time to get back at it.
I’ve done a few 5 day fasts. Thinking of extending to 7 days, anything I should know or expect differently between the two time periods? Just assuming I’ll have to be more diligent with electrolytes.

6 days, 142 hours. I weighed in .9 lbs lighter, today.(138.9 to 138.0, beginning weight of 147 at 5’3) Mentally I am tapped out. Physically, again I am fine. Actually today was a great day.i stayed busy all day but the constant fatigue is getting to me. I’m tired of being tired. I have almost no sustained energy, and need to rest often. I decided I am breaking my fast this evening, simply because I don’t want to break my fast on a Monday, during work hours. After I break, I will stick to 20/4 fasts and do 3 day fasts in the event I have any allergic reactions. But for my first long time fast since 2018, I have to be gentle and feel some accomplishment. I got to live allergy reaction free for nearly a week, so im ready to go back to an adjusted new normal. And, once a month I think I’ll try the 7 days again. So I’ll be back in april.
What am I breaking my fast with? A fish soup. Lol. Cod fish boiled in water with salt and a dash of rosemary. I’m allergic to avocados, I’m allergic to beef, and beef broth. So the only thing I could do is add a slab of butter to it. And that’s it folks.
