Early morning beginning of Day 3 for me. Last night I felt a bit hungrier compared to day 1. I had a dream that I went to a restaurant ordering much like I sadly have in the past which is two meals for one person-me! I remember that kind of excitement I would get in anticipation and took a bite and then realized I was fasting. I said in my dream and perhaps even aloud, oh no! I was so disappointed in myself! Then I realized it was just a dream-I did not break my fast. Still I’m going to use that feeling of disappointment to keep going! It’s kind of too early to say for sure but I may go through Feb 17 or the whole month of Feb since it’s a short month. Having a longer date will likely help me succeed in the closer one.

Hello, again!
Starting January 1st, I’m alternating a week of fasting with a week of keto OMAD, for weight loss and general health. My goal is to get under 200 pounds.
It’s day three of my THIRD seven-day, 168-hour fast of the year! 53 hours, 30 minutes in.
I did it! I stayed on track for ALL of January! I didn’t flake out, I didn’t give up! My New Year’s resolution actually MEANT something, and heralded a significant change! Really proud of myself.
I mean, I suppose I still have around 18 hours to screw up and give up, still, but I don’t foresee that, ha ha.
Time for my morning routine: caffeine, a Prilosec, and getting to work! Feeling energized and determined. Good luck to everyone else out there!
