Hello, I’m trying to make a post in this sub, but can’t because I have low carma… Sad.

Anyway, I am developing a fasting app because I don’t like all of the existing ones. Please give me some upvotes, so that I can finally open a proper thread.

Trying to do 48 hours.

Started Aug 27th 9pm

Ending Aug 29th 9pm.

Reason: Autophagy for preventative health + saving money on food…

I am trying to do this once a week. What do you do to entertain yourself and distract yourself from wanting to eat at the time that you normally do? Reddit? haha…

I’m feeling terribly unmotivated to do any sort of physical activity and worried it will make me hungry.

Starting my first 2 week fast, last time I ate was last night around 7. I’ve done 5 day fasts before, excited to try a full 2 weeks.

Aiming to get some good autophagy, treat insulin resistance, and lose some of this excess weight, current weight 343lbs, target 190lbs.

I’ll be making bone broth to break the fast in the end and I’ll have some boiled egg and avocado to reintroduce solids after that.

I haven’t experienced the euphoria of an extended fast yet, maybe it just won’t happen for me, but doing a 2 week fast should determine one way or another!
