Answer
Start Friday 6 Jan 1050pm ending TBA. Fasting for weight loss. This started as an 18-6 intermittent fast but then I watched a you tube video fasting for survival and thought I’d take it to 3 days. Somehow I’ve gotten to 8 days now - over our Christmas and New years (orthodox) which revolve around food. Some cravings - mainly potato scallops (deep fried potato dipped in batter), which are on sale at McDonald’s in Australia and seem to have taken over my Facebook feed
I bought some bone broth on Friday with the intention of breaking my fast but still not hungry and no real side effects (even after going from 5 white coffees a day to one Espresso).
Just water, magnesium tablets, a multivitamin and heart salt which contains sodium and potassium.
I’ve lost 8.5 pounds so far which my son says is water weight but even if it is half water weight I’m still happy.

Today, I’m going to be finishing a 48-hour fast. My goal for this fast is autophagy, but weight loss will be welcome. I’m taking a multivitamin, black coffee, and lemon water. I plan on breaking my fast with Greek salad and chicken.
